The four Festival Strings are non-auditioned ensembles, designed for students in middle school who have had one or two years instruction in a school setting. Younger students may participate if approved by the conductor. The conductors are Mark Osborn (Norman Festival Strings), Christy FineChristy Fine (Edmond Festival Strings), Jessica Stephens (North Area Festival Strings), and Denise McClurg (Stillwater Festival Strings). Tuition for the Festival Strings is $280 per year; first year students receive a fifty percent tuition reduction to $140 per year.
