The Harrison Sinfonia is a group comprised of developing string players. Musicians focus on learning new literature, tone development, expanding bow techniques, and ensemble playing. On occasion, pieces utilize the use of shifting throughout sections. Musicians spend time working on music outside of rehearsal, and are asked come prepared to learn new techniques and music each week. Started in 2006, the conductor since its inception is Gena Alexander. Tuition for the Harrison Sinfonia is $340 per year.
