Oklahoma Youth Orchestras
Mission Statement
The Oklahoma Youth Orchestras program seeks to broaden the cultural and artistic horizons of middle school and high school orchestral students through advanced training and performance opportunities under the direction of professional musicians, conductors and teachers. The OYO works to support, enhance and extend school orchestra and band programs. Membership is based on ability without regard to race, religion, gender, disability or ability to pay.

THE OKLAHOMA YOUTH ORCHESTRA HAS BEEN SELECTED TO PERFORM AT THE OPENING SESSION OF THE LEAGUE OF AMERICAN ORCHESTRAS CONFERENCE ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 6, 2012 IN DALLAS - FURTHER INFORMATION WILL BE POSTED AS IT BECOMES AVAILABLE. Auditions for the 2012-13 concert season will be May 12th (violin, bass, flute, and B flat clarinet) and May 19th (violin, viola, cello, other woodwinds, brass, and percussion). SIGN UP NOW!
